Cycles, Cycles and More Cycles!!!!

We study every kind of cycle that can be thought of in third grade! Water cycle, life cycles, tides, moon phases, day and night, seasons, and where does the list end? As we study moon phases, I give my students an edible test. They are given 4 fudge stripe cookies and they have to use icing and create the four phases of the moon and have it graded. I tell them to go home and tell their parents that they ate their test that day! Who ever said that teaching was a job? I get to have fun every day with my students! I love teaching, but it really does include a lot of long hours, but it is worth it, and the kids are definately worth it!
